All women of Beautiful Savior are automatically members of the Ladies Group of Beautiful Savior. Our purpose is to aid the members of the organization in growing in their knowledge of the Word of God and the work of the church and to give the members opportunity to further the work of both our local congregation and the church at large through whatever projects the organization may undertake.
Prayer Partners
One of the most popular activities of the Ladies Group is the "Prayer Partner" program through which women pray for and remember each other with cards and gifts during the year. At the annual Christmas party, prayer partners exchange gifts and draw names for the next year's prayer partners. These prayers and remembrances have blessed and supported many women over the years.
Other Activities...
Every year we sponsor a Mission Project. Caring Hands is also part of the Ladies Group. We help furnish meals for new moms, those having health issues and making visits to shut-ins.
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month during the school year and include a devotion, business meeting, and most months a craft project or guest speaker and, of course, snacks. Usually, we meet at Church at 7:15pm. For more information, contact Cheri Curtis, President.
Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society (www.lwms.org)
The Ladies Group of Beautiful Savior is also our local chapter of the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS). Through our contributions, encouragement and participation in regional and national conferences, we support the work of our missionaries and their families. Beautiful Savior is a member church within the LWMS Southern Hills circuit, which includes our sister congregations in North Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee.
